Understand Chesa Kubrow
Useful when…
- Adding a chance to scavenge extra loot from fallen enemies or containers.
- Stumbling nearby enemies and making them drop their weapons.
Loot and disarm effects
Retrieve gives the Kubrow a chance to scavenge additional loot from a fallen enemy or container. At maximum rank, the chance is 45% within 30 meters, with an activation interval of 10 seconds; at rank 0, it is 7.5% within 5 meters, also every 10 seconds. Neutralize makes the Kubrow roar, causing enemies in range to stumble and drop their weapons. Its range is 10 meters at maximum rank and 5 meters at rank 0. These are separate compatible precepts, so equip each effect you want.
Practical fit and base stats
Retrieve suits play where enemies or containers come within its radius and you value chances at extra scavenged loot. Neutralize is relevant when enemies come within its short radius; it is not described as a ranged attack. The Chesa has 940 health, 290 shields, and 300 armor. Its listed polarities are Penjaga, Vazarin, and Penjaga.
Compare by the job you need
Sahasa Kubrow is described as locating supplies while thinning enemy ranks, which may fit if supply-finding is the goal. Raksa Kubrow is described as protecting its master by bolstering defense and driving attackers away. Vasca Kavat is described as transfusing life to extend its own health and its master’s. These are distinct described roles, not evidence that any of them reproduces Chesa’s Retrieve or Neutralize effects.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Retrieve has a chance-based trigger and a 10-second interval.
- Neutralize only affects enemies within its listed 5- or 10-meter range.
- Using both effects requires equipping both compatible precepts.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming Retrieve guarantees extra loot; its maximum-rank chance is 45%.
- Assuming either precept is innate rather than equipped.
- Expecting Neutralize to affect enemies outside its listed range.
