Understand Dual Zoren Prime
Useful when…
- Use normal attacks for fast, Slash-heavy close-range melee.
- Use slam modes for area attacks, keeping Impact and Blast modes separate.
Normal attack profile
The normal attack lists 140 total damage: 126 Slash, 7 Impact, and 7 Puncture. It attacks at speed 1.25, with 30% critical chance, a 3.2x critical multiplier, and 22% status chance. These stats support considering a critical-oriented setup while retaining a more substantial status chance than the base Dual Zoren's 5%.
Slam attacks
A regular slam deals 280 Impact area damage, with falloff from 0 to 8 m and 50% reduction. A heavy slam deals 420 Blast area damage, with falloff from 0 to 9 m and 30% reduction. Each lists 10% status chance, and neither should be mistaken for the normal attack's Slash damage.
Build fit and alternatives
Dual Zoren Prime requires Mastery Rank 13 and lists one Vazarin and two Naramon polarities, giving several polarity slots to consider when planning mods. Vitrica is a Heavy Blade with described glassing and shattering actions; Ankyros Prime is a Fist weapon; Bo Prime is a Staff. Those have different handling or described mechanics, so compare them when considering another weapon class rather than treating their critical stats as proof of replacement value.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its Mastery Rank 13 requirement makes it a later progression choice.
- Normal and slam attacks use different damage and status profiles.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not apply the normal attack's 22% status chance to slam attacks, which list 10%.
- Do not infer that Prime status alone establishes a preferred choice; consider its stats, Mastery requirement, and polarity layout.
