Understand Furax Wraith
Useful when…
- Use for quick close-range fist strikes when the short reach suits your approach.
- Consider it if you want higher listed critical values than regular Furax.
What do the attacks show?
Normal attacks deal about 139 total damage, mostly Impact, at speed 1.08. They list 30% critical chance, a 2.7× critical multiplier, and 15% status chance. Regular Slam deals 278 Impact in an area with 50% falloff from 0 to 8 metres. Heavy Slam deals 417 Blast in an area with 30% falloff from 0 to 9 metres; the attack row lists a 2.3× critical multiplier for that mode, distinct from the normal attack’s 2.7×. The separate direct Heavy Attack damage is listed as 695.
What does the Wraith improve?
Compared with the regular Furax candidate, Furax Wraith lists a higher critical chance and multiplier—30% and 2.7× versus 25% and 2.3×—and faster attack speed, 1.083 versus 1. Its range remains 1.25, so the main constraint is still close positioning. Furax Wraith requires Mastery Rank 9, compared with Furax’s 5.
When do other options make sense?
Dual Kamas Prime are dual swords, while Fang is a dual-dagger weapon; both change weapon type and handling. The comparison descriptions do not establish their detailed attack behavior, so consider them only if you want those weapon classes rather than as direct fist-weapon substitutes.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Very short 1.25 listed range remains unchanged from Furax.
- Heavy Slam’s listed critical multiplier is 2.3×, different from the normal attack’s 2.7×.
- Requires Mastery Rank 9.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not apply the normal attack’s 2.7× critical multiplier to the Heavy Slam row, which lists 2.3×.
- Do not assume the Wraith’s higher stats extend its short range.
