Furis

Rapid-fire automatic secondary pistol

Released Oct 25, 2012

Furis is an early-access automatic pistol that fires quickly from a 35-round magazine. Its Normal Attack is hitscan and heavily weighted to Puncture; the listed Incarnon Form is a separate attack profile with Heat damage and falloff. Consider it for rapid fire or when using that separate form, while accounting for its low listed accuracy.

Furis GUIDE

Understand Furis

Useful when…

  • Use the Normal Attack for rapid hitscan fire at a listed 10 attacks per second.
  • Consider the Incarnon Form as a distinct Heat-damage attack with its own critical, status, and falloff values.
  • Use the included Naramon polarity as a build-planning consideration.

What is the normal firing profile?

Furis is a fully automatic Secondary pistol with 20 listed base damage, 5% critical chance, 2× critical multiplier, and 12% status chance. Its Normal Attack is hitscan at a listed 10 attacks per second, with most damage in Puncture. It has a 35-round magazine and a 1.4-second reload, but its listed accuracy is 22.22. The high fire rate supports quick damage application; the accuracy value is a practical reason to pay attention to range and aim.

How does the Incarnon entry differ?

The Incarnon Form is listed separately at 12 attacks per second, with 26% critical chance, 3.4× critical multiplier, and 24% status chance. Its attack lists 100 Heat damage and 48% falloff from 10 to 16 metres. These are the form’s listed attack properties, not additional damage to add to the Normal Attack.

What handling and alternatives matter?

Furis requires Mastery Rank 1 and has a single Naramon polarity. Athodai and Athodai Prime have a different conditional pattern: their descriptions say Weak Point kills trigger a short Overdrive that maximizes fire rate and grants infinite ammo. Viper is another full-auto pistol, described as having a small magazine, high fire rate, and quick reloads. These comparisons identify different handling or activation conditions, not a guaranteed replacement.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • Normal Attack has only 5% critical chance and 12% status chance despite its high fire rate.
  • Listed accuracy is low, so sustained fire may be harder to place precisely at range.
  • Incarnon Form has substantial listed falloff from 10 to 16 metres.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Do not combine the Normal Attack and Incarnon Form values into one attack profile.
  • Do not assume the Incarnon transformation condition from the form listing alone.
