Understand Helios Prime
Useful when…
- Scan nearby objects and enemies with the equipped Investigator precept.
- Enable glaive attacks with Targeting Receptor.
Investigator scanning
With Investigator equipped, Helios scans objects and enemies. At mod rank 0, its range is 20 m and a scan takes 5 seconds; at rank 5, the range is 50 m and a scan takes 2 seconds. The effect consumes Codex Scanner charges, so keep those charges available when using the scanning precept. These are precept-mod values, not a passive benefit of the companion’s health or armor.
Targeting Receptor attacks
Targeting Receptor causes the Sentinel to attack targets within 10 m. The rank-0 effect uses one glaive, while rank 3 uses three. Equip this precept when you want its attack behavior. Helios Prime’s description identifies Deconstructor Prime as its defensive weapon.
Properties and construction
Helios Prime has listed values of 700 Health, 300 Shields and 100 Armor. Its starting polarities include four Penjaga and one Vazarin; this list describes polarized slots, not its total number of mod slots. Construction lists a Prime blueprint, carapace, cerebrum, systems and six Orokin Cells, with a 15,000-Credit build price and a 24-hour build time.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Investigator consumes Codex Scanner charges.
- Precept effects require the relevant mod to be equipped.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting scanning without equipping Investigator.
- Confusing precept rank values with companion rank.
- Reading the starting polarity list as the complete slot count.
