Understand Mk1-Furis
Useful when…
- Use the automatic normal attack when you want a sidearm with a 35-round magazine.
- Consider Incarnon Form separately for its listed Heat damage and falloff.
Normal and Incarnon attacks
The normal attack is hitscan at speed 8.33, dealing about 13 physical damage: 1.95 Impact, 9.1 Puncture, and 1.95 Slash. It has 5% critical chance, a 2× multiplier, and 1% status chance. Incarnon Form is listed at speed 12, with 60 Heat damage, 20% critical chance, a 3× multiplier, and 8% status chance. Its falloff lists a 21.67% reduction between 10 and 16 metres. Activation conditions are unspecified.
Magazine and trigger
Mk1-Furis is automatic, with accuracy 22.22, a 35-round magazine, a 1.4-second reload, and one listed multishot. It requires no Mastery Rank, has rank cap 30, and lists a Naramon polarity.
Other sidearm formats
Lato Vandal is a semi-automatic hitscan pistol described as having higher accuracy and damage than standard Lato. Azima is described as able to fire its magazine into a spinning airborne device that shoots lasers at nearby enemies. Efv-8 Mars is described as a personal Efervon projector. These have different described formats or mechanics.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The normal attack lists 5% critical chance and 1% status chance.
- Incarnon Form has a separate Heat damage profile and falloff.
- The 35-round magazine still requires reloading.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not add Incarnon Heat damage to the normal attack’s physical damage.
- Do not overlook Incarnon Form’s listed falloff.
- Do not infer high status chance from automatic fire; the normal attack lists 1%.
