Understand Mk1-Strun
Useful when…
- Use the Normal Attack entry as the ordinary hitscan firing profile; keep its stats separate from the two Incarnon entries.
- Account for its six-round magazine and listed reload time when considering its firing rhythm.
- Use its Naramon polarity as a mod-slot planning detail when selected mods match.
What does the ordinary attack do?
The Normal Attack is semi-automatic and hitscan, with listed speed of about 2.08. Its damage components total 18 per attack entry: 9.9 Impact, 5.4 Slash, and 2.7 Puncture. The entry lists 7.5% critical chance, a 2× critical multiplier, and 6% status chance. Its falloff data starts at 15 m and gives a 25 m endpoint with 0.5 reduction. This describes falloff data; it does not specify an exact effective range, pellet count, or individual pellet damage.
Magazine and mod planning
The magazine holds 6 rounds and the listed reload time is 3.75 seconds. Mk1-Strun has one Naramon polarity, which can inform mod-slot planning when a selected mod matches it. The weapon requires mastery rank 0. These listed details describe its ordinary equipment profile and do not supply a modded damage result.
Incarnon attack entries
The Incarnon Form entry is a projectile attack listing 100 Impact damage, 44% critical chance, a 3× critical multiplier, and 40% status chance; it also lists projectile speed and flight values of 200. The separate Incarnon Form AoE entry lists 60 Slash, 25 Puncture, and 45 Blast damage, with falloff from 0 to 4 m and a 0.2 reduction at the endpoint. Do not blend either Incarnon entry into the ordinary hitscan Normal Attack profile.
Other shotgun profiles
The supplied Strun comparison lists 7.5% critical chance and a 1.5× multiplier. Strun Wraith lists 18% and a 2.2× multiplier. Arca Plasmor is described as a plasma shotgun whose blasts stagger targets and consume survivors with radiation. These are differences in the supplied profiles and description; they do not by themselves establish an upgrade path or direct replacement for Mk1-Strun.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The ordinary attack entry lists a 15 m falloff start and 25 m endpoint; those values alone do not establish an exact effective range.
- The six-round magazine and 3.75-second reload define its listed capacity and reload profile.
- The ordinary attack lists 7.5% critical chance and 6% status chance.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the 18 damage total as per-pellet damage or inferring a pellet count from the listed values.
- Treating the falloff endpoint as a precise effective range.
- Combining either Incarnon attack entry with the ordinary Normal Attack stats.
- Assuming the comparison weapons are direct upgrades based only on their listed critical stats or descriptions.
