Understand Strun Wraith
Useful when…
- Use normal fire when you want a semi-automatic hitscan shotgun with more rounds before reloading than Strun.
- Consider it when its higher listed normal critical and status chances suit your build.
Normal attack and handling
The normal attack is semi-automatic hitscan fire at 2.5 shots per second. It lists 40 damage per shot: Impact 26, Slash 8, and Puncture 6, plus 18% critical chance, a 2.2x critical multiplier, and 12% status chance. Damage falls off from 15 to 30 meters, with 50% reduction at the far end. A ten-round magazine reduces reload frequency compared with Strun, but the listed reload takes 5 seconds. Accuracy is 6.67.
Incarnon modes
Its Incarnon Form is a separate projectile attack: 2 shots per second, 200 projectile speed and flight, 100 Impact damage, 56% critical chance, a 3.4x critical multiplier, and 44% status chance. The separate Incarnon Form AoE lists Slash 90, Puncture 40, and Blast 70, with 20% falloff reduction over 0–4 meters. Do not treat these entries as the normal attack or add them together when describing a shot.
Investment and comparisons
Strun Wraith requires mastery 10, has a rank cap of 30, and one listed Naramon polarity. Compared with Strun, the supplied figures show higher normal critical chance, critical multiplier, and status chance, plus a larger magazine; its listed normal total damage is 40 versus Strun's 25. Its listed reload is also longer, 5 seconds versus 3.75. Arca Plasmor is another mastery-10 shotgun, but its comparison description emphasizes plasma blasts, stagger, and radiation rather than establishing identical handling. Choose based on the traits you need rather than assuming the Wraith is an across-the-board replacement.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Five-second reload can leave a long gap after the larger magazine is emptied.
- Normal attack falloff begins at 15 meters and reaches 50% reduction at 30 meters.
- Mastery requirement is higher than Strun's.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the larger magazine means a faster reload.
- Using the Incarnon mode statistics to describe normal fire.
- Comparing only critical chance while overlooking damage falloff and reload time.
