Understand Nami Skyla Prime
Useful when…
- Sustained close-range attacks using a 1.33 listed normal-attack speed and 34% status chance.
- Heavy slam attacks when you want a distinct Blast area attack.
What does each attack mode do?
Normal attacks list 180 total damage: 126 Slash, 36 Puncture, and 18 Impact, at 1.33 speed, 22% critical chance, a 2× critical multiplier, and 34% status chance. Regular slams are separate: 360 Impact damage in an area with 50% falloff by 8 m and 30% status chance. Heavy slams deal 540 Blast damage in an area, with 30% falloff by 9 m and 10% status chance; their listed critical multiplier is 2.2×. The weapon has 2.5 m range, 0.5 follow-through, and a 0.7-second heavy-attack wind-up.
What does the Prime profile support?
The normal attack mixes a high Slash share with a 34% status chance, while 22% critical chance and a 2× multiplier also make critical-focused investment a plausible option. Choose priorities to match your intended build rather than treating both as mandatory. The weapon requires Mastery Rank 11, reaches rank 30, and comes with two Madurai and one Vazarin polarity. Its listed crafting components are a blueprint, two Prime Nami Skyla blades, two handles, and 15 Orokin Cells; build time is 43,200 seconds.
How does it compare and what should you watch?
Compared with the standard Nami Skyla, the Prime's listed normal attack has higher damage, speed, critical chance, critical multiplier, and status chance. That makes the Prime's profile more supportive of mixed critical and status investment, while the standard weapon has a much lower Mastery requirement. Dragon Nikana is a different weapon class; Dual Kamas Prime is another dual-sword candidate with a lower Mastery requirement, but the comparison figures do not establish which is preferable for a particular build. The Prime's cached tags include Vaulted; that does not establish current availability.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Requires Mastery Rank 11, compared with the standard Nami Skyla's Rank 2 requirement.
- Its listed Prime polarities can inform mod fit, but do not themselves increase attack stats.
- Normal, slam, and heavy-slam attacks have different damage types and status chances.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not combine the regular slam and heavy-slam figures with normal-attack damage; they are separate modes.
- Do not assume its Vaulted tag establishes present-day acquisition or drop rates.
- Do not treat polarities as bonus damage.
