Understand Paris Prime
Useful when…
- Use charged fire for the faster projectile and higher listed base damage than an uncharged shot.
- Use the Incarnon-form charged attack as a separate form-specific option when applicable.
What does each shot do?
The uncharged projectile travels at 70 m/s and lists 9 impact, 153 puncture, and 18 slash damage, with 45% critical chance, a 2× multiplier, and 20% status chance. Charged fire takes 0.5 seconds, travels at 95 m/s, and lists 9 impact, 288 puncture, and 63 slash, with the same critical and status values. The Incarnon-form charged attack is separate: it takes 0.8 seconds, lists 50% critical chance, a 3.4× multiplier, 20% status chance, and 100 impact plus 420 heat damage. Do not treat those form-specific values as ordinary Paris Prime shots.
How does it handle?
The bow has a charge trigger, one-round magazine, listed fire rate 1, and 0.7-second reload. Its projectiles require aiming for travel and target movement; charged fire travels faster in the listed data. It requires Mastery 8 and carries Naramon and Madurai polarities, offering two matching-slot types.
Where is investment most relevant?
The 45% critical chance on both base attacks gives critical-oriented upgrades a clear fit for players who use the bow's charged shots. The base attacks list 20% status chance, and the Incarnon-form attack retains 20% while listing higher critical values. Choose priorities based on whether you are using the base bow or that form; the two polarities can help fit corresponding mods.
What are its limitations?
A one-round magazine and charge trigger mean each release is deliberate, and the projectile still needs to reach its target.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- High listed base critical chance supports critical-focused investment.
- Charged shots take time and the single-round magazine requires repeated reload cadence.
- Incarnon-form charged values are distinct from base attack values.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Confusing the Incarnon charged attack with base-form charged fire.
- Forgetting that the projectile needs travel time despite the bow's high critical chance.
