Understand Stug
Useful when…
- Its base profile lists a Blob Embed and a separate Blob Explosion.
- Its attack details list distinct Incarnon-form attacks.
Base attacks and handling
Blob Embed is an AoE attack with 4 Corrosive damage; Blob Explosion is a separate AoE attack with 75 Corrosive damage. Both list 5% critical chance, a 1.5× critical multiplier, and 10% status chance. The embed lists falloff from 0 to 2 with reduction 1; the explosion lists falloff from 0 to 0.3 with reduction 0.3. The Stug fires at 4 per second, has a 20-round magazine, and reloads in 2 seconds.
Incarnon-form attacks
The separately listed Incarnon-form attacks are Blob Embed (50 Corrosive damage), Blob Explosion (200 Corrosive damage), and Bounce Explosion (200 Corrosive damage). Each lists 15% critical chance, a 2× critical multiplier, and 20% status chance. The attack details do not describe access to or operation of this form.
Requirement and other pistol patterns
Stug requires Mastery Rank 2 and lists a Vazarin polarity. Angstrum is described as able to fire multiple rockets at once; Akzani as fast-firing dual pistols; and Azima as able to eject its magazine, which spins and fires lasers at nearby enemies. These descriptions identify different firing patterns.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The base embed and explosion have distinct listed damage and falloff values.
- Incarnon-form attacks have separate listed values from the base attacks.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the Blob Embed's 4 Corrosive damage as the separate Blob Explosion's 75 damage.
- Combining base and Incarnon-form attack values.
