Understand Talons
Useful when…
- Use when you want the listed mid-flight and embedded detonation attacks.
- Consider its four-round magazine and one-second reload as part of its handling profile.
Detonation modes
Mid-Flight Detonation lists 120 Blast damage, 22% critical chance, a 2× multiplier and 26% status chance. Embedded Detonation lists 250 Blast damage with the same critical stats and 10% status chance. Both list falloff start 0, end 4 and reduction 0.5. The weapon has an Active trigger, a four-shot magazine and a one-second reload.
Mastery and recipe
Talons requires Mastery Rank 8, has a rank cap of 30 and lists two Madurai polarities. Its build recipe lists one Forma as a component.
Other throwing behaviors
Aegrit is described as a remotely detonated explosive. Cantare's blades lodge and return on reload, and returning blades grant allies reload speed. Hikou is described as offering more ammunition capacity and fire rate than Kunai, with less damage. These descriptions cover different explosive timing, ally support and throwing-weapon handling.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The embedded detonation lists 250 Blast damage and 10% status chance; the mid-flight detonation lists 120 Blast damage and 26% status chance.
- The magazine holds four shots and the listed reload is one second.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating falloff end value 4 as a radius; no unit is specified.
- Assuming both detonation entries have the same damage or status chance.
