Understand War Prime
Useful when…
- Combat using heavy blade normal attacks and slam modes.
- Players whose mod choices can make use of the listed Naramon polarity.
Attack profile
Normal attacks deal 270 listed damage: 194.4 Impact, 43.2 Slash and 32.4 Puncture. They list 26% critical chance, a 3.2× critical multiplier and 32% status chance, with listed speed 0.917 and range 3.2. Regular slam is separately listed at 500 Impact, with falloff from 0 to 8 and 50% reduction; heavy slam deals 810 Blast, with falloff from 0 to 9 and 30% reduction. The attack details also list heavy-attack damage at 1620 and a 1.1-second wind-up. The slam modes list 10% status chance.
Progression and comparisons
War Prime requires Mastery Rank 15, ranks to 30 and has one Naramon polarity listed. It does not list crafting components in this entry. Skana is a much lower-rank sword with a lower listed critical profile, Ceramic Dagger is a short-range fast dagger, and Ceti Lacera is a blade-and-whip weapon. These differ substantially in class and handling, so the listed stats do not make them direct substitutes. The Prime label does not establish current acquisition or availability.
Limitations
The normal strike is heavily weighted to Impact; its high critical multiplier should be considered together with the listed 26% critical chance and slower attack speed. Slam modes switch damage type and have their own status values. No special ability or alternate form is listed for this weapon.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Requires Mastery Rank 15.
- Listed attack speed is 0.917 and heavy-attack wind-up is 1.1 seconds.
- Normal and slam modes use distinct damage and status profiles.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not describe the 3.2× critical multiplier without also accounting for the listed 26% critical chance.
- Do not treat the heavy slam’s Blast damage as the normal attack’s damage.
