Effect and slot
Flawed Flechette is a standard-slot shotgun mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 2. It grants +3% Puncture at rank 0, +9% at rank 2, and +12% at its maximum rank of 3. It cannot be equipped alongside Flechette.
Investment and alternatives
The listed rank costs are 10 Endo and 483 Credits from rank 0 to 1, 20 Endo and 966 Credits from rank 1 to 2, and 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits from rank 2 to 3. Standard Flechette has the same polarity, a base drain of 4, and reaches +90% Puncture at rank 5. Accelerated Blast instead pairs +60% Puncture with +60% Fire Rate, while Amalgam Shotgun Barrage pairs +85% Fire Rate with +45% Revive Speed; neither is simply a higher-rank version of Flawed Flechette.

No drop sources are listed for Flawed Flechette.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its lower base drain comes with a much smaller Puncture bonus and a rank-3 cap.
- It cannot be used at the same time as standard Flechette.
