Understand Fortitude
Useful when…
- Add knockdown resistance alongside shield recharge.
- Use when both listed defensive bonuses are useful, rather than seeking only one of them.
What does it do?
At rank 0, Fortitude grants +10% chance to resist knockdown and +25% Shield Recharge. At rank 2, those values are +30% and +75%; at rank 3, they are +40% and +100%.
Fit and competing choices
It is a standard Warframe mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 3. No named exclusions are listed. Power Drift adds ability strength alongside knockdown resistance in an Exilus slot; Sure Footed and Primed Sure Footed list knockdown resistance without Fortitude’s shield recharge bonus. Those are alternatives to consider if you prioritize one of their specific effects.
Rank investment and source
The rank steps cost 30, 60, and 120 Endo, plus 1,449, 2,898, and 5,796 Credits. Rank 2 provides +30% knockdown resistance and +75% Shield Recharge; rank 3 adds 10 percentage points and 25 percentage points, respectively. The supplied source is Nightmare Mode Rewards, Rotation B.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses a standard mod slot for two defensive effects.
- Its knockdown protection is a chance, not a stated guarantee.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reading +40% chance to resist knockdown as full immunity.
- Assuming increased Shield Recharge restores shields directly or increases maximum shields.
