Understand Primed Sure Footed
Useful when…
- Reducing the chance of being knocked down during combat.
- Using an exilus slot for knockdown resistance when interruptions are a problem.
Effect and fit
The mod grants a chance to resist knockdown: 9% at rank 0, 55% at rank 5, and 100% at rank 10. It is a standard Warframe exilus mod with Vazarin polarity and a maximum rank of 10.
Rank investment
Higher ranks raise the listed resistance chance, with substantial costs at the top end. The supplied examples list 1,280 Endo and 61,824 Credits for ranks 5 to 6, and 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits for ranks 9 to 10. Choose a rank investment according to how much resistance you want and the resources available.
Alternatives and exclusions
Sure Footed is a related standard Warframe exilus mod, listed at up to 60% knockdown resistance, and cannot be equipped alongside Primed Sure Footed. Adaptation instead occupies a standard slot and builds resistance to a damage type after damage; it does not provide knockdown resistance. Adept Surge is a Conclave exilus mod with a mobility bonus and a health penalty, so its listed effect differs from knockdown protection.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses an exilus slot and substantial fusion resources at high ranks.
- Cannot be equipped with Sure Footed.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming lower ranks provide the listed 100% resistance.
- Confusing Adaptation's damage-type resistance with knockdown resistance.
