Understand Sure Footed
Useful when…
- Add a chance to resist knockdown through a Warframe Exilus slot.
- Use partial ranks if the incremental resistance is useful before committing to the final fusion steps.
Effect and compatibility
Sure Footed grants 15% chance to resist knockdown at rank 0, 45% at rank 2, and 60% at rank 3. It is a Vazarin Warframe Exilus mod with base drain 6. It is explicitly incompatible with Primed Sure Footed.
Fusion investment
The listed steps cost 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits from rank 0→1, 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits from 1→2, and 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits from 2→3. The final rank raises the listed chance from 45% at rank 2 to 60%; it does not make knockdown resistance certain.
Compare the kind of protection
Primed Sure Footed lists 100% chance to resist knockdown, but cannot be equipped with this mod. Adaptation instead builds resistance to a damage type when damaged, while Adept Surge is a Conclave Exilus mod with a mobility bonus and a health penalty. These effects and variants differ; they are not interchangeable sources of knockdown resistance.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Maximum listed resistance remains a 60% chance.
- The Exilus slot and fusion resources could support other configuration needs.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating 60% chance as guaranteed knockdown resistance.
- Trying to equip Sure Footed alongside Primed Sure Footed.
