Understand Hallowed Reckoning
Useful when…
- Add range to Reckoning and create allied armor support around affected enemies.
- Deal recurring damage in the areas created around enemies hit by Reckoning.
Effect and area values
The augment gives Reckoning +40% range. Around each affected enemy, it creates an area that grants bonus armor to allies and deals damage per second to enemies. At rank 0 the radius is 1.5 m and damage is 150 per second; at rank 2, 2.5 m and 250 per second; at rank 3, 3 m and 300 per second. The supplied effect does not quantify the bonus armor.
Rank and capacity
It has three ranks, Zenurik polarity, 6 base drain, and uses a standard slot. The listed fusion steps cost 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits, then 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits, then 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits. The range bonus is fixed across the listed ranks; higher ranks increase the area radius and damage per second. Prioritize those increases if the mod fits and the effect is central to your plan.
Related augment choices
Smite Infusion instead grants nearby allies +100% Radiation Damage to attacks for 40 seconds after a held Smite cast. Phoenix Renewal is a Renewal augment that prevents fatal damage once for each affected ally every 60 seconds, restoring that ally to 50% Health. Defiled Reckoning is a Conclave variant with an effect on Health Orbs. Each supports a different ability or situation, so choose based on the ability the build uses.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- It requires Reckoning to affect enemies to create the armor and damage areas.
- The bonus armor amount is unspecified in the provided effect.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the armor amount increases with rank; no numeric armor values are supplied.
- Confusing the standard augment with the Conclave variant.
