Understand Health Conversion
Useful when…
- Survival setups that can make use of Health Orbs to build Armor stacks.
- Warframes whose play pattern allows them to collect Health Orbs and manage the stack loss after taking damage.
How does the Armor effect work?
At maximum rank, each Health Orb grants 450 Armor, up to three stacks. Rank 0 grants 75 Armor per stack, and rank 3 grants 300. Taking damage consumes a stack after three seconds. This is a standard Warframe mod with Vazarin polarity.
How much should I invest?
The mod reaches rank 5. Listed examples cost 30 Endo and 1,449 credits for ranks 0 to 1, 120 Endo and 5,796 credits for ranks 2 to 3, and 480 Endo and 23,184 credits for ranks 4 to 5. Higher ranks improve Armor per stack, so weigh that increase against both the cost and the need to collect Health Orbs to build stacks.
How does it differ from other defensive or orb-triggered mods?
Carnis Carapace gives Armor and Health directly as listed bonuses, rather than building stacks from Health Orbs. Archon Vitality increases Health and applies a separate Heat-related status effect for abilities. Energy Conversion, by contrast, triggers from Energy Orbs to improve Ability Strength on the next cast. These options have different triggers and effects.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Requires Health Orb pickups to build stacks.
- Taking damage consumes a stack after three seconds.
- Uses a standard Warframe slot.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the Armor as a permanent flat bonus instead of a Health Orb-triggered stack.
- Forgetting that taking damage consumes a stack after three seconds.
