Understand Indomitable Matrix
Useful when…
- Add breach-related protection and low-Hull armor to a Railjack aura configuration.
Effects and conditions
This standard Railjack Aura has Naramon polarity and a base drain of -2. At rank 5 it reduces Breach Chance by 12%, grants +15% Shield Recharge during Breach, and grants +30% Armor when Hull is below 36%. The armor condition is tied to Hull falling below the stated threshold.
Rank investment
At rank 0, the mod reduces Breach Chance by 2% and gives +2% Shield Recharge during Breach; its +30% Armor applies below 6% Hull. At rank 3 those thresholds and values become -8% Breach Chance, +10% recharge, and armor below 24% Hull. Rank 5 extends the recharge and breach benefits and raises the armor activation threshold to below 36% Hull. The listed rank 4-to-5 step costs 320 Endo and 15,456 credits.
Compare by purpose
Ironclad Matrix offers broad Hull, Armor, shield, and shield-recharge bonuses. Onslaught Matrix has effects conditioned on full Hull or shields above 80%, plus Battle Mod Efficiency. Raider Matrix boosts Archwing and captured Crewship stats. These auras emphasize different roles; their listed effects do not establish that one is universally preferable.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The Armor bonus activates only below the rank-dependent Hull threshold.
- Later ranks cost more resources, though the mod retains base drain -2.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not assume the armor bonus is always active; Hull must be below the threshold for the current rank.
