Trigger and effect
After six melee kills within six seconds, the mod buffs the secondary weapon’s Status Chance and Critical Chance. At rank 0 the bonus is +20% for 4 seconds; rank 3 gives +80% for 16 seconds; rank 5 gives +120% for 24 seconds. The trigger requires melee kills, while the benefit applies to the secondary weapon.
Practical fit
It is a standard thrown-melee mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 5. It is most relevant when melee kills are part of the intended weapon flow and the secondary can be used within the buff window. Combo Fury instead grants secondary reload speed and magazine capacity on a melee kill; Combo Killer supports combo duration and resets the melee combo timer on a secondary kill. Volatile Quick Return changes glaive bounce and explosion behavior, so it serves a different purpose.
Rank costs and limits
The shown rank-up steps cost 30, 60, 120, 240, and 480 Endo, with Credits rising from 1,449 to 23,184 across those steps. Rank increases the buff magnitude and duration; it does not change the six-kills-in-six-seconds trigger in the supplied effects. A build that cannot reliably trigger the effect gains no benefit from the conditional buff.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The bonus applies only after a demanding timed melee-kill trigger and lasts for a limited duration.
- It uses a thrown-melee mod slot that could support other glaive functions.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming ordinary melee hits trigger it; the effect specifies six melee kills within six seconds.
- Using the buff as though it applied to the glaive rather than the secondary weapon.
