Maximum Capacity

Conclave assault rifle magazine mod

Released Jun 4, 2015

Maximum Capacity increases magazine capacity while reducing reload speed. Consider it in Conclave when longer firing intervals matter more than the slower reload penalty.

Maximum Capacity GUIDE

Understand Maximum Capacity

Useful when…

  • Increasing the magazine size of a compatible assault rifle in Conclave.
  • Trading reload speed for more rounds before reloading.

Effects and compatibility

At rank 0 it grants +5% Magazine Capacity and -2.5% Reload Speed; rank 3 grants +20% and -10%; rank 5 grants +30% and -15%. It is a Conclave assault rifle mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 4, and maximum rank 5. It is explicitly incompatible with Double Tap, Hydraulic Gauge, Loose Hatch, and Precision Munition.

Practical tradeoff

The added capacity is paired with slower reload speed, so the mod favors fewer reload interruptions at the cost of taking longer to reload. Hydraulic Gauge instead reduces recoil while reducing magazine capacity; Loose Hatch improves reload speed but increases recoil; Deft Tempo grants mobility after a headshot. Those candidates change different handling properties and do not bypass Maximum Capacity’s incompatibility list.

Rank costs and source

The listed rank-up costs are 10, 20, 40, 80, and 160 Endo, with Credits of 483, 966, 1,932, 3,864, and 7,728. The listed acquisition entry is Conclave, Mistral, with a 100% chance.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • More magazine capacity is paired with a reload-speed penalty.
  • It cannot be equipped with the four explicitly named incompatible mods.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Equipping it alongside Double Tap, Hydraulic Gauge, Loose Hatch, or Precision Munition despite the stated incompatibility.
  • Considering magazine capacity without accounting for the slower reload.
