Understand Necramech Flow
Useful when…
- Increase the Necramech’s maximum Energy when a larger reserve is useful for your ability-focused setup.
- Pair it with a plan that benefits from more available capacity, while recognizing that the mod does not itself replenish Energy.
What does it change?
This standard Necramech mod increases Energy Max. Its listed ranks give +17% at rank 0, +67% at rank 3, and +100% at rank 5. This is a capacity bonus; no Energy recovery or ability-cost reduction effect is specified.
When is a larger reserve useful?
Consider Flow when you want more maximum Energy available for Necramech abilities. Necramech Augur has a different interaction: its description converts 240% of Energy spent on abilities to shields. Necramech Rage instead converts a portion of damage on Health to Energy, with its listed maximum-rank rate at 15%. Those are distinct mechanics; Flow increases capacity and does not perform either conversion.
How should you rank it?
It has five ranks, a Naramon polarity, and base drain of 4. Rank 3 provides +67% Energy Max, compared with +100% at rank 5. Fusion costs rise substantially: 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for 0-to-1, 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for 2-to-3, and 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits for 4-to-5. Rank 3 is a stated intermediate milestone; the final ranks make sense when you value the additional capacity enough to spend the higher costs.
What are its limits?
Flow does not directly improve shields, reduce incoming damage, restore Energy, or make abilities cheaper according to its listed effect. For shield conversion, Necramech Augur has the explicit Energy-to-Shields effect; for damage-to-Energy conversion, Necramech Rage is the relevant distinct option.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The bonus increases maximum Energy but does not provide Energy recovery or ability efficiency.
- The final two ranks cost substantially more than earlier listed steps for the increase from +67% to +100% Energy Max.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting Flow to restore Energy or reduce ability costs.
- Confusing increased Energy capacity with Augur’s Energy-to-Shields conversion or Rage’s damage-to-Energy effect.
