Understand Necramech Fury
Useful when…
- Improve melee attack speed when using Necramech melee attacks.
- Consider it alongside other melee mods when choosing between faster attacks, more damage per hit, or greater reach.
What does it do?
This standard Necramech mod increases Melee Attack Speed: +10% at rank 0, +30% at rank 2, and +40% at rank 3. The bonus is to speed, not the damage or range of an individual hit.
When is speed useful?
Fury suits a setup that uses Necramech melee attacks and values attack speed. Necramech Pressure Point increases Melee Damage, while Necramech Reach adds up to +1 Melee Range at rank 3. Those mods address damage and reach, so they are alternatives to consider for different melee priorities rather than equivalent versions of Fury.
How much should you rank it?
Fury has three ranks, Madurai polarity, and base drain of 4. It reaches +30% at rank 2 and +40% at rank 3. The listed steps cost 10 Endo and 483 Credits from rank 0 to 1, 20 Endo and 966 Credits from rank 1 to 2, then 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits from rank 2 to 3. The last rank adds 10 percentage points at the listed higher step cost; rank it according to how much you value that added speed.
What should you avoid assuming?
This is a Necramech mod, and no named incompatible Necramechs are listed. Do not interpret increased attack speed as a damage-per-hit bonus or as extra melee reach. Pressure Point and Reach have their own distinct effects.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- It improves melee attack speed, not damage per hit or melee range.
- The final rank adds 10 percentage points and costs 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits in the listed step.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting attack speed to increase damage per hit.
- Confusing faster melee attacks with added melee range.
