Understand Necramech Rebuke
Useful when…
- Add a conditional nearby electrical effect when the Necramech’s shields are depleted.
- Consider it for a shield-focused setup that can make use of its trigger, while accounting for its cooldown.
What happens when shields deplete?
At rank 0, Rebuke electrifies enemies within 5 m for 3 seconds and deals 75 Electricity Damage when shields are depleted; it has a 10-second cooldown. At rank 2 the listed radius and damage are 15 m and 225, and at rank 3 they reach 20 m and 300. The trigger is shield depletion, so this is a conditional response rather than a continuously active effect.
When is it worth considering?
Consider Rebuke when you value its nearby electrical effect after shields are depleted and can accommodate the 10-second cooldown. Necramech Repair instead restores 10% Health per second for 3 seconds when Health falls below 20%, with a 15-second cooldown. Necramech Augur converts energy spent on abilities into shields, while Necramech Rage converts a portion of damage on Health to Energy. These are different triggers and benefits; none is a direct substitute for Rebuke’s shield-depletion response.
How should you rank it?
It has three ranks, Madurai polarity, and base drain of 6. Rank 0 starts at a 5 m effect radius and 75 Electricity Damage; rank 2 gives 15 m and 225; rank 3 reaches 20 m and 300. The listed fusion steps cost 20 Endo and 966 Credits from 0-to-1, 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits from 1-to-2, and 80 Endo and 3,864 Credits from 2-to-3. Ranks expand both radius and damage, so rank according to how much you value the larger response and its cost.
What limits its use?
Rebuke requires shield depletion to trigger and has a 10-second cooldown. Do not treat it as a shield-capacity increase, a shield-recharge effect, or a constant aura.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The effect triggers on shield depletion and is limited by a 10-second cooldown.
- The mod has base drain 6; higher ranks improve radius and damage but require additional fusion resources.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting the electrical effect before shields deplete or during the cooldown.
- Confusing Rebuke’s triggered damage with shield capacity, recharge, or damage reduction.
