Understand No Return
Useful when…
- Build a pistol around a larger Puncture bonus.
- Use a familiar Naramon-polarity standard mod slot for Puncture-focused customization.
Effect and compatibility
No Return grants +15% Puncture at rank 0, +60% at rank 3, and +90% at rank 5. It is a standard pistol mod with Naramon polarity and base drain 2. The percentage describes the mod's Puncture bonus; it does not by itself determine the pistol's final damage.
Rank costs and capacity
The mod has five upgrade ranks. The supplied costs include 20 Endo and 966 Credits for rank 0 to 1, 80 Endo and 3,864 Credits for rank 2 to 3, and 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits for rank 4 to 5. Since the later ranks call for larger listed costs, decide whether the extra Puncture bonus is worth spending those resources and fitting capacity in your current pistol setup.
Related pistol mods
Flawed No Return shares the Puncture focus but reaches only +20% at rank 3 and is incompatible with this standard version. Accelerated Isotope has a different role, combining Radiation and Fire Rate, while Air Recon is a Conclave Exilus mod that reduces zoom during aim gliding; neither is a like-for-like Puncture replacement.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Higher ranks raise the bonus but the listed fusion costs also rise at later steps.
- A standard pistol slot devoted to Puncture is unavailable for another mod in that build.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reading +90% Puncture as a guaranteed +90% to total pistol damage.
- Equipping it together with Flawed No Return despite their stated incompatibility.
