Understand Odomedic
Useful when…
- Gain Health regeneration by traversing the stated wall running distance.
- Build up to three effect stacks through repeated qualifying wall runs.
Trigger and effect
At rank 0, every 12 m traversed by wall running regenerates 10 Health over 1 second, and the effect can stack up to three times. At rank 2, the threshold is 6 m for 30 Health over 3 seconds; at rank 3, it is 3 m for 40 Health over 4 seconds. The condition is specifically wall running.
Ranking and use
Odomedic is a standard Sentinel mod with Penjaga polarity, base drain 2, and maximum rank 3. Its rank track costs 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits for rank 0 to 1, 60 Endo and 2,898 Credits for rank 1 to 2, and 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for rank 2 to 3. Higher ranks shorten the wall run distance requirement and increase the stated regeneration, so rank it if wall running is frequent enough to make the trigger practical.
Different companion functions
Repair Kit is described as providing companion Health regeneration per second, while Sacrifice lets a Sentinel incapacitate itself to revive its downed owner and Assault Mode tells the Sentinel to attack the first visible enemy within 30 m. These effects address companion upkeep, revival, and offense respectively; they do not share Odomedic's wall running trigger.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The regeneration requires wall running, so ordinary movement does not satisfy its stated trigger.
- It occupies a standard Sentinel slot.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting running, sliding, or other movement as the stated wall running trigger.
- Confusing Health regeneration for the player with Repair Kit's stated companion Health regeneration.
