Understand Patagium
Useful when…
- Use when longer aim glides or wall latches support your movement or positioning.
- Consider Battering Maneuver or Firewalker if their listed parkour or bullet-jump effects also suit your build.
What changes in use?
Patagium lengthens both Aim Glide and Wall Latch Duration: the bonus is 15% at rank 0, 60% at rank 3, and 90% at rank 5. It does not list a change to parkour speed or damage.
Slot and compatibility
Patagium is a standard Warframe Exilus mod with Naramon polarity, base drain 2, and maximum rank 5. Its slot is specifically Exilus, so it competes with other choices for that slot rather than a regular Warframe mod slot.
Rank for the duration you need
The rank 2-to-3 step costs 80 Endo and 3,864 Credits, and brings the listed bonus to 60%; the final step costs 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits for 90%. Since this is a duration-only effect, the higher investment is most relevant when the extra duration matters to your movement. Battering Maneuver lists 18% parkour velocity, 18% duration, and an Impact effect on Bullet Jump; Firewalker lists parkour velocity, duration, and Heat on Bullet Jump. Their distinct effects may better fit a build seeking more than duration, but their listed values do not establish which is preferable overall.
Duration-focused alternatives
Boreal’s Anguish lists 60% Aim Glide/Wall Latch Duration alongside reduced gravity while aim gliding. That combination differs from Patagium’s duration-only effect; consider it if reduced gravity is relevant to the build.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses an Exilus slot for duration without a listed speed or damage effect.
- Higher ranks cost more Endo and Credits for additional duration.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Reading the 90% bonus as parkour velocity; it applies to Aim Glide and Wall Latch Duration.
- Forgetting that Patagium uses the Exilus slot.
