Understand Path of Statues
Useful when…
- Use when Landslide movement through enemies can create a useful petrifying trail.
- Compare with Ore Gaze for loot and Codex scanning from Petrify, or Rubble Heap for a benefit tied to having more than 1,400 Rubble.
What does Landslide leave behind?
The augment makes Landslide leave a trail that petrifies enemies. At rank 0 the trail lasts 7 seconds and petrification lasts 4 seconds; at rank 2 these become 10 and 5 seconds; at rank 3, 12 and 6 seconds. The two durations are distinct: the trail’s lifetime is longer than each enemy’s listed petrification time.
Installation and rank costs
Path of Statues is a standard Atlas mod with Zenurik polarity, base drain 6, and maximum rank 3. Ranking improves both the trail lifetime and petrification duration. The final step costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits for a trail lasting 12 seconds and petrification lasting 6 seconds.
How it differs from Atlas alternatives
Ore Gaze changes Petrify so petrified enemies are scanned into the Codex and have a 25% chance to drop additional loot when killed. Rubble Heap instead has a threshold condition: above 1,400 Rubble, Landslide costs no Energy, deals 2x damage, and travels 2x faster. These serve different purposes from Path of Statues’ trail-based petrification. Rumbled is a Conclave variant for Rumblers and should not be confused with this standard Landslide augment.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The effect depends on leaving Landslide’s trail where enemies can be affected.
- It occupies a standard mod slot and has base drain 6.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating the 12-second trail duration as the petrification duration; at max rank petrification is listed as 6 seconds.
- Confusing the standard Landslide augment with Rumbled, which is identified as a Conclave variant.
