Useful when…
- Support squadmates when a 30% Ability Strength gain at maximum rank is more useful to them than the wearer's 30% loss.
- Use in the Aura slot when the Madurai polarity and aura capacity contribution fit the build.
How does the Strength exchange work?
At rank 0, the wearer loses 5% Ability Strength while squadmates gain 5%. At rank 3, both figures are 20%; at maximum rank 5, the wearer loses 30% and squadmates gain 30%. The trade is personal, so assess the penalty against the squad benefit for the abilities involved.
When is it useful?
This is an Aura mod, compatible with the Aura slot, with Madurai polarity and base drain -4. The effect makes it a support choice for a squad whose members can use added Ability Strength. Growing Power is a different Aura option: its description grants the squad personal Ability Strength for six seconds after a weapon status effect, rather than continuously trading the wearer's Strength for squadmates' Strength. Combat Discipline and Melee Guidance describe health on kill and melee-combo duration effects, respectively, so they serve different purposes.
How should you invest in ranks?
The listed tradeoff grows from 5% at rank 0 to 30% at rank 5. The examples show a step from rank 0 to 1 costs 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits, rank 2 to 3 costs 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits, and rank 4 to 5 costs 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. Rank it further when the added squad benefit justifies both the larger personal penalty and sharply rising costs.
What is the main limitation?
The wearer loses Ability Strength at every listed rank; this is not a squad bonus without a personal cost. Check the effect against your own abilities and squadmates' needs before installing it. The negative base drain is associated with an Aura slot, not a standard Warframe mod slot.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Squadmates gain Ability Strength while the wearer loses the same listed percentage.
- Maximum rank has higher support value but costs substantially more Endo and Credits than early ranks.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Counting the squad Strength bonus without accounting for the wearer's equal Ability Strength loss.
- Installing it in a standard mod slot instead of the Aura slot.
