Understand Primed Expel Corpus

Effect and target
Primed Expel Corpus grants a damage multiplier against Corpus: x1.05 at rank 0, x1.3 at rank 5, and x1.55 at rank 10. This is a faction-specific pistol mod, so its listed bonus is relevant when the target is Corpus. It does not describe a universal damage increase.
Slot and exclusions
It occupies a standard pistol mod slot, has Madurai polarity and base drain 4, and cannot be equipped with Expel Corpus or Flawed Expel Corpus. Regular Expel Corpus reaches x1.3 at rank 5; Flawed Expel Corpus lists x1.1 and rank 3. These provide lower faction multipliers and are alternatives rather than additional bonuses to combine with the Primed version.

The mod can be ranked to 10. The last step costs 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits from rank 9; rank 5 already supplies x1.3 against Corpus. Accelerated Isotope is another standard pistol mod, but it grants Radiation and Fire Rate rather than faction damage, so it serves different build priorities.

Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying the x1.55 Corpus multiplier as though it affects all enemy factions.
