Understand Primed Pressure Point
Useful when…
- Add the listed melee damage bonus to a compatible melee weapon.
- Use as a higher-ceiling option than Pressure Point when the greater fusion investment is worthwhile.
Effect and restrictions
It grants +15% Melee Damage at rank 0, +90% at rank 5, and +165% at rank 10. It is a standard melee mod with Madurai polarity and base drain 4. It cannot be equipped alongside Pressure Point, Sacrificial Pressure, Amanata Pressure, or Flawed Pressure Point.
Rank investment
It has 10 ranks. The listed examples cost 40 Endo and 1,932 Credits for rank 0 to 1, 1,280 Endo and 61,824 Credits for rank 5 to 6, and 20,480 Endo and 989,184 Credits for rank 9 to 10. Consider whether that final step is a better use of resources than upgrading other parts of the weapon setup.
Compare the damage options
Pressure Point reaches +120% Melee Damage at rank 5 with base drain 4. Flawed Pressure Point reaches +80% at rank 3 with the same listed base drain. Sacrificial Pressure has a different profile: +110% Melee Damage and a damage multiplier against Sentients, and it cannot be combined with Primed Pressure Point. These are comparisons, not automatic replacements; select according to the intended use and slot constraints.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Maximum rank requires substantial Endo and Credits.
- Its damage role competes with other standard-slot melee mods for capacity.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Trying to equip it with Pressure Point, Sacrificial Pressure, Amanata Pressure, or Flawed Pressure Point.
- Assuming that its listed bonus alone determines final melee damage.
