Understand Revo Reducer
Useful when…
- Reduce Revolite use while repairing Railjack hazards or damage during missions.
What it changes
At rank 0, Revo Reducer cuts Omni Revolite consumption by 6.8%; at rank 3, by 27%; and at its maximum rank of 5, by 40.5%. It reduces the resource cost of using Omni for repairs; it does not increase repair speed or provide Revolite.
When to equip it
This is a Plexus mod for players who expect to perform repairs and want each repair to consume less Revolite. Its benefit depends on actually spending Revolite: it contributes no listed turret damage, speed, or artillery-charge effect. Artillery Cheap Shot instead gives Forward Artillery a chance not to consume Dome Charges, so it addresses a different resource and use case.
Rank and fit
The mod has a Naramon polarity, fits a standard Plexus slot, has base drain 2, and reaches rank 5. Raising it improves the consumption reduction from 6.8% to 40.5%; the supplied fusion examples show higher costs at later ranks, including 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits for ranks 4 to 5. Weigh that investment against how often you repair. Conic Nozzle uses Vazarin polarity and increases Railjack speed, while Crimson Fugue uses Madurai polarity and grants temporary turret damage per enemy destroyed; neither duplicates Revo Reducer's repair-cost effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Its value rises with Revolite use and falls when repairs are infrequent.
- Ranking costs Endo and Credits for a larger reduction; it does not supply Revolite.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Treating reduced Revolite consumption as a source of Revolite or faster repairs.
- Comparing its repair-resource effect directly with Dome Charge conservation or turret damage.
