Understand Savior Decoy
Useful when…
- Use it when a Decoy-based backup against fatal damage is useful to your Loki setup.
- Rank it further if faster Decoy casting matters.
What does Savior Decoy change?
If Loki takes fatal damage, Decoy absorbs that damage and swaps locations with Loki. It also increases Decoy's casting speed: 20% at rank 0, 35% at rank 2, and 50% at rank 3. The fatal-damage effect is listed at all ranks; only the casting-speed bonus scales in the supplied rank effects.
When should you equip it?
Consider Savior Decoy when you want an emergency Decoy interaction to cover fatal damage and value faster Decoy casts. It is a standard Loki mod with base drain 6 and Zenurik polarity. Deceptive Bond is a Conclave variant that transfers half of damage Loki takes to Decoy and vice versa; Damage Decoy instead gives enemies attacking its decoy five random status effects and increased reflected damage. Neither has Savior Decoy's stated fatal-damage swap effect.
How much should you fuse it?
The augment has three ranks. The fatal-damage protection is listed at rank 0, while casting speed increases from 20% to 50% by rank 3. Successive ranks cost 30, 60, and 120 Endo, plus 1,449, 2,898, and 5,796 Credits. If the emergency effect is your main reason to equip it, the listed rank progression improves casting speed rather than changing that effect.
What should you avoid confusing it with?
Savior Decoy cannot be equipped with Deceptive Bond, which is explicitly listed as an incompatible name. Hushed Invisibility is another Loki augment, but it changes weapon noise while Loki is invisible; it does not supply the fatal-damage effect.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Uses a standard mod slot for a Decoy-based survival effect.
- The listed rank progression increases casting speed; it does not increase the described fatal-damage safeguard.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Trying to equip Deceptive Bond alongside Savior Decoy; the two are explicitly incompatible.
