Understand Seeking Fury
Useful when…
- Improve reload speed and add Punch Through with one standard shotgun mod slot.
- Use when both bonuses matter more than a single-purpose mod's larger Punch Through effect.
Effect and fit
Seeking Fury is a Rare standard shotgun mod with Madurai polarity and base drain 6. At rank 0 it grants +2.5% Reload Speed and +0.2 Punch Through; at rank 3, +10% and +0.8; at rank 5, +15% and +1.2. The two effects are bundled on the same mod.
Ranking and tradeoffs
It reaches rank 5. Listed steps cost 30 Endo and 1,449 Credits from rank 0 to 1; 120 Endo and 5,796 Credits from rank 2 to 3; and 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits from rank 4 to 5. Higher ranks improve both bonuses, but the later increases cost more. Compare that investment with how much you value reload speed and the additional Punch Through on the particular shotgun.
Other reload choices
Burdened Magazine adds magazine capacity but reduces reload speed, so it trades away one of Seeking Fury's benefits. Chilling Reload adds Cold and reload speed but no listed Punch Through. Flawed Seeking Force instead focuses on Punch Through and is incompatible with Seeking Force, not Seeking Fury. These mods fill different roles; compare the actual benefits rather than assuming they are interchangeable.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Combines two useful properties but has lower maximum Punch Through than Seeking Force.
- Reload speed benefit is traded away by Burdened Magazine's negative reload modifier.
- Ranking the last steps requires substantial Endo and Credits.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming Seeking Fury offers as much Punch Through as Seeking Force.
- Overlooking the mod's Madurai polarity when planning slot capacity.
- Treating magazine capacity with a reload penalty as equivalent to reload speed.
