Understand Semi-Rifle Cannonade
Useful when…
- Boost a semi-auto rifle’s damage while adding punch through.
- Use on a compatible rifle when fire rate is not a build priority.
Effects and compatibility
This standard rifle mod is limited to semi-auto triggers. At rank 0 it grants +40% damage and +0.25 punch through; at rank 5 it grants +240% damage and +1.5 punch through. Fire rate cannot be modified while the mod is installed, so it does not fit a setup that depends on changing that stat.
Rank and capacity
It has Vazarin polarity, base drain 4, and a maximum rank of 5. Fusion increases both listed effects; the supplied examples show the cost rising from 20 Endo and 966 Credits for ranks 0–1 to 320 Endo and 15,456 Credits for ranks 4–5. Raise it as far as your capacity and resource budget allow, especially if the added punch through matters to your use of the rifle.
Choosing around its constraint
Critical Delay instead adds critical chance but reduces fire rate; Flawed Speed Trigger increases fire rate, which this mod prevents from being modified. Internal Bleeding has a conditional Impact-to-Slash effect and is not a direct substitute for this mod’s damage and punch-through bonuses. These alternatives serve different goals and conditions.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The fire-rate lockout rules out setups that need fire rate modified.
- Higher ranks consume more fusion resources.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Installing it on a rifle without a semi-auto trigger.
- Expecting to modify fire rate while the mod is installed.
