Effect and compatibility
The standard slot Flawed Shotgun Barrage grants +10% Fire Rate at rank 0, +30% at rank 2, and +40% at rank 3. It has Madurai polarity and base drain 2, and is incompatible with Shotgun Barrage and Amalgam Shotgun Barrage.
Rank and alternatives
The listed rank steps cost 20, 40, and 80 Endo plus 966, 1,932, and 3,864 Credits. Standard Shotgun Barrage reaches +90% Fire Rate at rank 5; Amalgam Shotgun Barrage reaches +85% and also grants +45% Revive Speed. These are separate variants, not bonuses to stack with the Flawed mod.
When it helps
Fire Rate supports faster firing, but using the slot for it depends on the shotgun and configuration. Accelerated Blast is another listed option that combines Fire Rate with Puncture, but has its own values and slot cost; do not treat its dual-stat effect as the same rank progression as this Flawed mod.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Maximum listed Fire Rate is lower than the standard and Amalgam counterparts.
- The mod cannot be equipped with either named counterpart.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Trying to stack the Flawed version with Shotgun Barrage or Amalgam Shotgun Barrage.
