Flawed Smite Corpus GUIDE
Understand Flawed Smite Corpus
Useful when…
- Adding a faction-specific melee damage modifier against Corpus.
- Using a flawed faction Mod when the standard or primed variant is not being used.
Effect and ranks
The listed Corpus damage multiplier rises from 1.05× at rank 0 to 1.15× at rank 2 and 1.2× at rank 3.
Slot and investment
This is a flawed Madurai-polarity melee Mod with base drain 4 and maximum rank 3. Ranking it increases the listed multiplier, with higher ranks costing more Endo and Credits. Consider that investment in light of how often the target faction matters to your melee setup.
Other melee choices
Smite Corpus is the standard variant and is listed at 1.3× damage against Corpus; Primed Smite Corpus reaches 1.55×. Flawed Smite Corpus is incompatible with both. Amalgam Organ Shatter instead adds Critical Damage and Heavy Attack Wind Up Speed, which are different effects and are not a faction-specific substitute.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The bonus applies to Corpus, not all enemies.
- Its maximum listed multiplier is lower than the standard and primed variants.
- Cannot be equipped with either named non-flawed variant.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Applying its Corpus-specific multiplier as though it affected every enemy faction.
- Trying to equip it with Smite Corpus or Primed Smite Corpus.
