Understand Temporal Erosion
Useful when…
- Stripping armor with Grenade Fan or Blaze Artillery strikes during Temporal Anchor.
Effect and condition
Each strike of Grenade Fan and Blaze Artillery strips armor while Temporal Anchor is active. The listed amount is 5% per strike at rank 0, 8% at rank 2, and 10% at rank 3. Temporal Erosion is a standard Protea mod with Zenurik polarity and maximum rank 3.
Fusion costs
Fusion costs are 30 Endo and 1,449 credits for rank 0→1, 60 Endo and 2,898 credits for 1→2, and 120 Endo and 5,796 credits for 2→3.
Other Protea augment effects
Temporal Artillery attaches one existing Artillery unit to Protea and halts its duration countdown when Temporal Anchor is activated. Repair Dispensary creates pickups that heal companions and reduce their incapacitation timer. These effects differ from Temporal Erosion's armor stripping on strikes.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The armor-strip effect requires Temporal Anchor to be active and qualifying strikes to land.
- The armor-strip cap and any duration independent of Temporal Anchor are unspecified.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting armor stripping while Temporal Anchor is inactive.
- Applying the per-strike percentage to an entire ability cast.
