Understand Vigor
Useful when…
- Use when a Warframe benefits from increases to both Health and Shield Capacity.
What Vigor adds
At rank 0, Vigor gives +8% Shield Capacity and +8% Health. At rank 3, it gives +33% to each; at max rank 5, it grants +50% to both. These are capacity and Health bonuses, not resistance or damage reduction.
Slot and rank investment
Vigor is a standard Warframe mod with Vazarin polarity and base drain 6. It reaches rank 5, with the listed rank 4 to 5 step costing 480 Endo and 23,184 Credits. Investment makes sense when both bonuses matter enough to justify the standard slot and drain.
How it differs from other defensive mods
Primed Vigor is listed at +75% Shield Capacity and +75% Health, with max rank 10. Adaptation instead builds resistance to damage types when damaged; Adept Surge is a Conclave Exilus mod with mobility and Health changes. These effects and variants differ. Vigor and Primed Vigor are explicitly incompatible, so they cannot be equipped together.
Acquisition
The listed acquisition entry is Nightmare Mode Rewards, Rotation C.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- It increases Health and Shield Capacity, but does not list damage resistance or recharge bonuses.
- The mod is incompatible with Primed Vigor.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting Vigor to grant damage resistance or shield recharge.
- Attempting to equip Vigor with Primed Vigor, which is explicitly incompatible.
