Planter
Planter is the skill used for Farming (Fields), including planting seeds in farm plots above or below ground. Higher skill lets a dwarf plant faster and produces larger plant stacks at harvest.
How it works
Larger harvest stacks increase raw food output and make downstream tasks such as brewing, cooking, and threshing more efficient because those tasks process a stack at a time. Farming requires a farm plot and the Farming (Fields) labor. Plots can be placed on soil or muddied rock, and crop choices depend on plot location.
