Bloodstained Chivalry

Physical damage and conditional Charged Attack artifact set

Introduced in v1.0

Bloodstained Chivalry grants Physical DMG Bonus with two pieces. Its four-piece bonus activates after defeating an opponent, increasing Charged Attack DMG by 50% and removing Charged Attack stamina cost for 10 seconds. Consider it when defeating an enemy can reliably precede a Charged Attack window; the four-piece effect is not a general always-on Charged Attack bonus.

Understand Bloodstained Chivalry

Useful when…

  • Increasing Physical damage with two pieces.
  • Using Charged Attacks after defeating an opponent to gain damage and avoid stamina cost temporarily.

What activates the four-piece effect?

Two pieces grant 25% Physical DMG. With four pieces, defeating an opponent increases Charged Attack DMG by 50% and reduces Charged Attack stamina cost to zero for 10 seconds. The condition is a defeat, not simply hitting or weakening an opponent.

When is it practical?

The four-piece bonus is useful in encounters where an opponent can be defeated before the wearer uses Charged Attacks during the 10-second window. Its two-piece Physical DMG Bonus has no defeat condition listed, so it remains the part of the set that does not depend on that sequence. Consider whether the content includes suitable opportunities to trigger the four-piece effect.

How do other attack-focused sets differ?

A Day Carved From Rising Winds grants ATK after several types of attacks hit an opponent and can also add CRIT Rate if Witch's Homework is complete. Long Night's Oath builds stacks from Plunging Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Elemental Skills to increase Plunging Attack damage. Song of Days Past converts recorded healing into a limited number of damage increases for active-party hits. These bonuses have different triggers and target different damage patterns; they are not direct equivalents to Bloodstained Chivalry's defeat-triggered Charged Attack window.

What should you avoid?

Do not expect the four-piece Charged Attack bonus or stamina reduction before an opponent has been defeated, or after the 10-second duration ends. The listed trigger requires a defeat, so damage dealt before that point does not itself activate the effect.

Limitations and tradeoffs

  • The four-piece bonus is temporary and requires defeating an opponent.
  • Its damage and stamina benefits apply to Charged Attacks, while the two-piece bonus is Physical DMG.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Assuming the four-piece effect activates on any hit rather than after defeating an opponent.
  • Using the Charged Attack benefit as if it lasted beyond 10 seconds.
