Understand Qiqi
Useful when…
- Heal party members with normal or charged hits while Herald of Frost is active.
- Use the burst when several characters need healing from damage dealt to marked opponents.

Skill healing and conditions
Adeptus Art: Herald of Frost deals Cryo damage around Qiqi, then creates a Herald that follows the character. When Qiqi's normal or charged attacks hit, they regenerate HP for party members and nearby teammates based on her ATK. The Herald also periodically regenerates the active character's HP and damages opponents it passes through. Its duration is 15 seconds and the skill cooldown is 30 seconds, so there can be a gap between uses. While a character is under this skill's effect, triggering an elemental reaction raises that character's Incoming Healing Bonus by 20% for eight seconds.
Burst healing and passive talisman
Adeptus Art: Preserver of Fortune marks nearby opponents with Fortune-Preserving Talismans. When an opponent bearing a talisman takes damage, the character who dealt that damage regenerates HP. The burst costs 80 Energy, has a 20-second cooldown, and the listed mark duration is 15 seconds. Separately, Qiqi's normal and charged hits have a 50% chance to apply a talisman for six seconds, but this passive can only occur once every 30 seconds. Do not confuse that limited passive application with the burst's marking of nearby opponents.
Investment and exploration
ATK supports both healing effects, so it is a useful stat direction if healing is the main purpose. Skill levels improve the Herald's healing and damage; burst levels improve its talisman healing and initial hit. Normal-attack levels are more conditional, since attack hits can trigger skill healing and the separate talisman passive, but the kit does not require high normal-attack damage to heal. Ascension supports general progression. Qiqi also marks nearby Liyue-specific resources on the mini-map.
Practical limits
The skill's long cooldown compared with its duration can leave downtime, and the burst requires 80 Energy. Burst healing depends on damaging marked opponents, so a character who cannot hit them receives no healing from that trigger.

Common mistakes to avoid

- Relying on her normal-attack talisman passive as a frequent source when it can occur only once every 30 seconds.
