Understand But the Battle Isn't Over
Useful when…
- A Harmony wearer who uses Ultimate on an ally and values occasional Skill Point recovery.
- A setup where the next ally acting after the wearer's Skill can benefit from a one-turn damage increase.
What are the triggers and limits?
At S1, Energy Regeneration Rate rises by 10%. Using the wearer's Ultimate on an ally restores 1 Skill Point, but this can trigger only once after every 2 uses of the wearer's Ultimate. After the wearer uses Skill, the next ally to take action, excluding the wearer, deals 30% more damage for 1 turn. S5 raises these bonuses to 18% Energy Regeneration Rate and 50% damage; the Skill Point and turn limits remain.
When does it fit?
It is most useful when the wearer can direct their Ultimate at an ally and the action after their Skill is likely to be an ally who benefits from the buff. The Skill Point return is periodic rather than every Ultimate. A Grounded Ascent also rewards abilities used on one ally, building a damage buff and recovering Skill Points after a set number of uses. Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds applies a rotating random team buff at the start of battle and the wearer's turns. Chorus provides a simpler team ATK increase after entering battle. Their triggers and targeting differ, so compare the effect to the wearer's actions.
How should you invest?
Promotion raises the Light Cone through six stages. Superimposition increases Energy Regeneration Rate and the damage buff, while the shown steps use duplicate copies. Promotion develops base stats; refinement is a copy-consuming choice if the wearer regularly uses the ally-targeting Ultimate and Skill triggers.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Skill Point recovery requires an Ultimate used on an ally and is limited to once per two Ultimate uses.
- The damage increase applies to the next ally to act after the wearer's Skill, not automatically to a chosen target.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not expect a Skill Point from every Ultimate; the effect triggers once after every two Ultimate uses.
- Do not assume the Skill buff targets a chosen ally; it goes to the next ally who acts, excluding the wearer.
