Understand Chorus
Useful when…
- Give all allies an ATK increase after entering battle.
- Use when this team-wide ATK effect is useful and another effect of the same type is not already supplying it.
When does the team buff apply?
After entering battle, all allies receive an ATK increase: 8% at S1 up to 12% at S5. Effects of the same type cannot stack.
How can you invest in it?
Promotion advances Chorus through stages 0–6. Superimposition goes from S1 to S5, and the listed examples consume one S1 Chorus copy per step. Superimposition raises the team ATK percentage.
What do other Harmony effects offer?
A Grounded Ascent grants a targeted ally a stacking damage increase after its wearer uses a Skill or Ultimate on that ally; it can also restore Energy and recover a Skill Point after repeated qualifying uses. But the Battle Isn’t Over increases Energy Regeneration Rate and can restore a Skill Point when its wearer uses an Ultimate on an ally, subject to a two-Ultimate interval; its Skill also buffs the next ally to act. Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds cycles randomly among team ATK, CRIT DMG, and Energy Regeneration Rate effects at battle start and when the wearer’s turn begins; the applied effect replaces the previous one. These are different support effects from Chorus’s battle-entry buff.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The ATK effect is triggered on entering battle, with no recurring trigger described.
- Effects of the same type cannot stack.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Expecting the ATK increase to stack with another effect of the same type.
- Assuming the effect changes randomly or refreshes on the wearer’s turns; those behaviors belong to a different listed Light Cone.
