Understand If Time Were a Flower
Useful when…
- A Harmony wearer who launches Follow-Up ATKs.
- Teams that can use CRIT DMG shared during Presage's two-turn window.
How does Presage work?
The wearer gains 36% CRIT DMG at S1. At battle entry, they regenerate 21 Energy and gain Presage for two turns; while it is active, all allies gain 48% CRIT DMG. After the wearer launches a Follow-Up ATK, they regenerate another 12 Energy and gain Presage for two turns. S5 raises the wearer's CRIT DMG to 60% and the team bonus to 96%; the stated Energy gains and durations do not change.
When is it practical?
The opening Energy and Presage are available without a Follow-Up ATK. Maintaining further Presage depends on the wearer launching Follow-Up ATKs, so a Harmony character without that attack mode will rely on the opening window. Since the team bonus is CRIT DMG, its usefulness depends on allies dealing damage that can benefit from CRIT DMG.
Improve or keep at S1?
Promotion raises the Light Cone's level. Superimposition increases the wearer's CRIT DMG and team CRIT DMG bonus, but each listed step consumes another copy. The basic team-support effect is already present at S1; higher investment is most relevant when the added CRIT DMG is valuable across the wearer's actual Presage uptime.
Other Harmony effects
A Grounded Ascent restores Energy and grants a stacking damage bonus to the ally targeted by the wearer's Skill or Ultimate, with a Skill Point refund after a number of uses. But the Battle Isn't Over grants Energy Regeneration Rate and has a conditional Skill Point refund after an Ultimate used on an ally. Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds rotates among random team ATK, CRIT DMG, and Energy Regeneration Rate bonuses. They provide different triggers and forms of support rather than the same Follow-Up-triggered team CRIT DMG window.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- After the battle-entry effect, renewed Presage depends on the wearer launching Follow-Up ATKs.
- The team buff is CRIT DMG, not a universal increase to all damage.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming Presage is refreshed by any attack; the stated trigger is a Follow-Up ATK.
- Treating the team CRIT DMG bonus as permanently active without considering its two-turn duration.
