Understand It's Showtime
Useful when…
- A wearer who can inflict debuffs to build Trick stacks.
- A wearer with at least 80% Effect Hit Rate who can also use the conditional ATK increase.
How do Trick and the ATK bonus work?
When the wearer inflicts a debuff, they gain one Trick stack. Each stack grants 6% damage at S1, rising to 10% at S5, up to three stacks. The effect lasts one turn. Separately, having at least 80% Effect Hit Rate increases ATK by 20% at S1 and 36% at S5. The Effect Hit Rate threshold is a condition for ATK, not a requirement stated for gaining Trick.
Which wearer benefits?
Consider it when the wearer both applies debuffs and can reach the Effect Hit Rate threshold without giving up stats the build needs. Its damage increase is personal and stack-based. Along the Passing Shore provides CRIT DMG and bonuses against targets it marks with Mirage Fizzle. Before the Tutorial Mission Starts increases Effect Hit Rate and restores Energy when attacking DEF-reduced enemies. Boundless Choreo grants CRIT Rate and adds CRIT DMG against Slowed or DEF-reduced enemies. These Light Cones reward different damage profiles and conditions.
How should I invest?
Promotion improves the Light Cone’s level. Superimposition raises damage per Trick stack and the conditional ATK bonus; each step consumes a duplicate copy. The three-stack limit and 80% Effect Hit Rate threshold do not change with superimposition, so improve it when those effects already fit the wearer.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- Trick stacks require debuff application and last only one turn.
- The ATK bonus requires 80% Effect Hit Rate.
- The damage increase affects the wearer, not the party.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming Trick requires 80% Effect Hit Rate.
- Expecting Trick to last beyond its one-turn duration.
- Treating the ATK effect as active below the stated threshold.
