Understand Loop
Useful when…
- Increase damage against enemies that are currently Slowed.
- Use when the wearer can attack Slowed targets.
What condition activates the damage increase?
The wearer deals 24% more damage to Slowed enemies at S1, rising to 48% at S5. The target must be Slowed when the wearer deals damage; no bonus against enemies without that status is stated.
How can you invest in it?
Promotion advances Loop through stages 0–6. Superimposition runs from S1 to S5, and each listed step consumes one S1 Loop copy. More superimposition increases the damage bonus; its use depends on having Slowed targets to attack.
How do the listed Nihility effects differ?
Before the Tutorial Mission Starts increases Effect Hit Rate and restores Energy when the wearer attacks enemies with reduced DEF. Boundless Choreo increases CRIT Rate and gives more CRIT DMG against enemies that are Slowed or have reduced DEF. Along the Passing Shore applies Mirage Fizzle when the wearer hits a target and increases damage against affected targets, including an additional Ultimate damage increase. These effects differ in their stats and conditions from Loop’s damage bonus against Slowed enemies.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The bonus requires enemies to be Slowed.
- It does not provide the Effect Hit Rate or Energy effects listed on other options.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the damage bonus applies before the enemy is Slowed or after that status ends.
- Confusing a bonus against Slowed enemies with an Effect Hit Rate increase.
