Understand Poised to Bloom
Useful when…
- A party with at least two characters following the same Path, including the wearer when applicable.
- A Harmony wearer who can use the ATK increase while supporting characters through the entry condition.
How does its team effect activate?
The wearer gains 16% ATK at S1, rising to 32% at S5. Upon entering battle, if two or more characters follow the same Path, those characters gain 16% CRIT DMG at S1, increasing to 32% at S5. This is an entry condition, and effects of the same type cannot stack. The Light Cone does not describe a recurring check or a buff that changes when the party changes during battle.
When should I consider it?
Check the party’s Paths before choosing it: at least two characters must share a Path for the team CRIT DMG effect to apply. Its personal ATK increase remains separate from that condition. A Grounded Ascent rewards using Skill or Ultimate on one ally and provides Energy and conditional Skill Point recovery. But the Battle Isn't Over provides Energy Regeneration Rate, conditional Skill Point recovery, and a next-ally damage effect after Skill. Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds instead cycles among random party-wide ATK, CRIT DMG, and Energy Regeneration Rate effects.
What should I upgrade?
Promotion improves the Light Cone’s level. Superimposition raises the ATK and CRIT DMG amounts; each step consumes a duplicate copy. Since the Path condition does not change, consider copies when the party already satisfies it and the CRIT DMG increase is useful.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The party CRIT DMG effect requires at least two characters on the same Path when entering battle.
- Effects of the same type cannot stack.
- Superimposition consumes duplicate copies.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the CRIT DMG effect applies when all characters have different Paths.
- Expecting the effect to stack with another effect of the same type.
- Treating the Path condition as a repeated in-battle check.
