Understand Today's Good Luck
Useful when…
- An Elation wearer who uses Elation Skills and benefits from CRIT Rate.
- A build that can activate the Elation stacks through multiple Elation Skill uses.
How do its bonuses work?
At S1, the wearer gains 12% CRIT Rate. Using an Elation Skill adds 12% Elation, stacking up to two times. At S5, the Cone grants 20% CRIT Rate and 20% Elation per stack, still capped at two stacks. The Elation portion therefore depends on skill use; CRIT Rate is not described as conditional.
When should you compare other Elation Light Cones?
A Little Getaway gives Elation and causes the wearer’s Elation Skill to ignore some target DEF during use, rather than building Elation stacks after skill use. Colors for Tomorrow supports allies when its wearer uses an Elation Skill on all allies, while Dazzled by a Flowery World has effects tied to Elation teammates and Skill Point spending. Consider those only when their particular triggers or support effects better match the intended use.
What is a sensible investment?
Promotion advances the Cone through six stages. Superimposition increases the stated CRIT Rate and per-stack Elation values from S1 to S5; each listed step costs one S1 copy. Promotion addresses level progression, while duplicate copies are the cost of raising the passive’s numbers. Higher superimposition does not raise the two-stack cap.
What limits the effect?
The Elation gain requires Elation Skill use and caps at two stacks. Do not assume repeated uses can exceed that cap, or that Elation stacks appear merely from entering battle.
Limitations and tradeoffs
- The Elation bonus needs Elation Skill uses to build.
- Its Elation stacks cap at two.
- Superimposition consumes duplicate copies.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming the Elation stacks exceed two.
- Confusing CRIT Rate, which is unconditional in the description, with the skill-triggered Elation gain.
- Expecting the Elation stacks to build without using Elation Skills.
